Sheriff Bonds update in Stone County Leader

The following information is taken from the daily activity logs of deputies with the Stone County Sheriff's Office.
 

During the week of 4/22 - 4/28 deputies responded to the following:
. domestic disturbance on Dickens Lane (arrest made), on Highway 5 North, and on Foll Loop.
. vandalism at Berthies Hollow.
. complaint of prescription drugs stolen from a home.
. complaint of a fence being damaged by a neighbor.
. reports of drunk drivers on Highway 14 East (no contact).
. two-vehicle accident on Oak Grove Loop (no injuries).
. stolen truck from Gammill Lane at Timbo.
. 18-wheeler stolen on Highway 14 East.
. vehicle-cow accident on Highway 263 North.
. possible prowler on Church Road in St. James.
. fire on Highland Drive, turned out to be a controlled burn.
. report of aggravated assault on Dickens Lane (arrest made).
Deputies also:
. detained an individual suspected of DWI on Highway 66.
. assisted state police with a vehicle fleeing on Highway 5 North (two arrests, including one for drugs).
. made a felony arrest for probation/parole in the Mount Joy Cemetery/Mingues-Turner area.
. conducted multiple building checks at stores, fire departments and schools, and checked the welfare of a resident off Highway 66.
. made a traffic stop on Highway 14 East, resulting in a drug-related arrest.
