Sheriff Bonds update in Stone County Leader
The following information is taken from the daily activity logs of deputies with the Stone County Sheriff's Office.
During the week of 5/10 - 5/16 deputies responded to:
. a suspicious person at Blanchard Springs campground. No contact.
. a loose animal at Younger Access.
. a vehicle in a ditch on Optimus River Road. Owner had vehicle trouble.
. a hit and run accident on Hwy. 9 South. No personal injuries.
. a suspicious vehicle at Blanchard. Everything alright.
. a stalking report. One arrest.
. a diesel spill on Hwy. 87.
. a physical altercation on Herpel Road. Victim taken to the medical center for treatment. Charges pending.
. an alarm at Rural Special School.
. a two-vehicle accident at Culp. No personal injuries.
. a child custody dispute at Round Mountain.
. a suicide threat off Hwy. 14 east.
. an aggravated assault on Gypsy Road.
. a dog bite on Church Road.
. a disturbance call on Wickham Lane.
. an accident in the Sylamore area.
. a domestic disturbance on Optimus River Road.
. a terroristic threatening call on Hwy. 14 East. One arrest.
. a harassment call in the Herpel area.
. a report of gunshots on Cove Road. No contact.
. a suspicious person at the VFW. No contact.
. a theft report on Misenheimer Road.
. a domestic disturbance on Hwy. 9 South.
. a civil court pick-up order on Guion Road.
Deputies also:
. Made various building checks around the county.
. Assisted the state police with sobriety check points.
. Served foreclosure in the Blue Sky area.
. Made a theft report at Prince Loop.
. Transported an inmate to court.
. Made a trespass report on Hwy. 9 South.
