During the week of May 31 - June 6 deputies responded to:
. A prowler call on Roaring River Road.
. A call on a suspicious vehicle off Misenheimer Road.
. A possible drunk driver on Hwy. 66. No contact.
. An overturned boat at Sylamore.
. A break- in on Blue Cove Loop.
. A domestic disturbance off Blue Sky Road.
. A stolen tractor on Cajun Creek.
. A vehicle in the creek on Hanover Road. Occupants safe.
. A gas drive-off at Timbo.
Deputies also:
. Made three arrests for possession of a controlled substance after catching subjects who were fleeing on foot.
. Made a high speed chase from Big Flat to Culp. Subject abandoned vehicle and escaped on foot.
. Made a felony arrest for rape.
. Made a civil stand-by at Red Doors.
. Made a theft report on Hwy. 66.
. Served notices to vacate.
. Made a civil stand-by on Luber Road.
. Made building checks around the county.
. Made trash pick up on Hwy. 87 and QMC Road. 37 bags of trash.
. Provided a funeral escort at Flatwoods.
. Made a theft report on Gunner Pool Road.
. Made a theft report on a stolen horse.
