During the morning hours of May 23, 2014, the Stone County Sheriff’s Department, Mountain View Police Department, 16^th District Drug Task Force, Arkansas Game and Fish, and Izard County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant on Hayden Heights Road in Stone County Arkansas.  Investigators found a small amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.  Investigators arrested James Clinton Brannon, age 61, and Roger Welch, age 55, both of Mountain View, AR.  They are both being charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine(D Felony), Possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to store, analyze, pack, or repack methamphetamine, (B Felony), Possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to introduce methamphetamine into the human body, (Class D Felony), Maintaining a Drug Premises, (Class C Felony), and possession of marijuana, (class A Misdemeanor).   Both are being held in the Stone County Jail on a $20,000.00 bond.
