Sheriff Lance Bonds states that on October 7, 2016, Stone County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance on Herpel Road in Stone County. When deputies arrived, the complainant / victim walked towards the deputies, carrying a small female child in her arms. The victim's nose was bloody and she appeared to be upset. While speaking with deputies, the victim stated that Everidge had struck her in the nose as he tried to get the child away from the victim.

As deputies approached the residence, Everidge walked into view, and immediately ran back inside. When deputies entered the residence, Everidge once again came into view however, he was holding what appeared to be a black pistol (handgun).

After several minutes of negotiations, Everidge dropped the handgun and was immediately taken into custody. Further inspection of the weapon proved it to be a BB pistol.

Everidge is awaiting a Stone County Circuit Court date. His bond was set at $15,000.00.
