WANTED / FIRST DEGREE MURDER

Sheriff Lance Bonds states that at approximately 7:15 pm on October 25, 2016, Deputies with the Texas County Sheriff's Department along with Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were dispatched to a residence on Boiling Springs Rd. near Success, Missouri, for a reported shooting.

Two male subjects were found shot, one fatally and one was flown out by Air Evac and is in critical condition. The Texas County Sheriff’s Department is currently searching for Daniel Campbell, white male, 39 years old. Campbell has been charged in Texas County with 1st Degree Murder, Armed Criminal Action x 2, Assault First Degree, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

Campbell was last seen driving a 1997 Ford Ranger, black with a green grille and green front bumper with Missouri State License 6UX 841. Campbell’s whereabouts are unknown at this time. Campbell is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with any information on Campbell’s location is asked to contact the Texas County Sheriff’s Department at 417-967-4165 or their local law enforcement agency.

Note:  According to Missouri authorities, Campbell may be headed to the Stone County, Arkansas area.
