Sheriffs Bonds update in Stone County Leader

The following information is taken from the daily activity logs of deputies with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office.

During the week of 4/20 - 4/26 deputies logged 3,268 miles.

Deputies:

• Transported inmates to different facilities around the state.

• Made building checks around the county.

• Responded to a report of cows in the road at Jimmy Creek.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Hwy. 9 south. No arrests.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Happy Hollow Road. Contact made, no arrests.

• Investigated a theft of property at Optimus.

• Worked a one vehicle accident on Gaylor Road. No personal injuries.

• Responded to a medical emergency on Petters Road.

• Responded to a verbal dispute on Sunrise Lane.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Red River Road. One subject arrested.

• Searched for a missing 5-year-old child on Herpel Road. Found okay.

• Responded to a complaint of cows in the road on Hwy. 14 east.

• Investigated a theft of property on Hwy. 9 south. Investigation continues.

• Investigated suspicious activity at Fox. No contact.

• Responded to a possible overdose at Fox. Subject transported to medical center.

• Responded to a complaint of cows in the road at Marcella.

• Motorist assist on Hwy. 5 north.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance at Under the Ledge Road. Subject arrested for domestic battery.

• Responded to a vehicle-cow accident on Hwy 263. No personal injuries.

• Investigated a boat sunk in the river at Round Bottom.

• Reserve deputies picked up trash in the city after the Folk Festival.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Fox Hollow Road. No arrest. Victim taken to shelter.

• Investigated a disabled vehicle on Dodd Mountain.

• Responded to cattle in the road at Meadowcreek.

• Investigated gunshots on North Ridgeview.
