Sheriff Bonds update in Stone County Leader

The following information is taken from the daily activity  reports of deputies with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office.

During the week of 4/27 - 5/3, deputies logged 3,488 miles.

For the month of April reserve officers supervised trash  pick-up on 51 miles of highway and collected 331 bags of trash.

Deputies:

• Made several inmate transports around the state.

• Made multiple building checks around the county.

• Responded to a complaint of horses in the highway at  Newnata.

• Responded to a vehicle blocking the road at Newnata.

• Responded to a call about a man lying near the highway on  Highway 5 South. No contact.

• Conducted civil standbys on Union Street and Bob Davis  Mountain.

• Responded to a dispute on Misenheimer Road.

• Responded to a complaint about a person trying to run over  his dog on Herpel Road. No contact.

• Checked on the welfare of a subject at Webb Acres and on  Highway 5 South.

• Responded to a neighbor dispute on Happy Hollow Road.

• Responded to cattle in the road at Dugan Stretch.

• Took back a total of 87 pounds of pills on the drug take back  program.

• Searched for a missing 5-year-old boy on Flat Rock Road.  Little boy found.

• Responded to a verbal dispute on Wilcox. Resolved.

• Responded to a noise complaint on Happy Hollow Road.

• Responded to debris in the roadway on Highway 5 South.  Roadway cleared.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance at Webb Acres. No  arrests.

• Responded to a 4-wheeler accident at Ben.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Red River Road.  Subject arrested.

• Responded to a harassment complaint on Brushy Creek Road.  Subjects contacted. Issue resolved.

• Responded to a possible prowler on Partee Lane.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Agnes Lane. Female  transported to another residence. No arrests.

• Responded to a property dispute at Meadowcreek.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance at Fifty Six. Female  removed from residence. No arrests.

• Responded to a person moving a mobile home on Big Springs  Road. Was damaging the highway.

• Responded to a complaint of a trespasser on Happy Hollow  Road.

• Responded to a complaint of loud music on Country Charm Road.  Subject arrested for disorderly conduct.

• Assisted the MVPD with a domestic disturbance on Highway 66  West.

• Responded to a trespassing complaint on Agness Lane.

• Worked a motorcycle accident on Rocky Ridge Road. No personal  injury.

• Responded to a complaint from a subject whose neighbor’s dog  bit his dog.

• Responded to a possible drunk driver at Allison. No  contact.

• Investigated a complaint of threatening phone calls on  Highway 9 South.

• Responded to a motorcycle accident on Highway 87. No personal  injury.

• Responded to a dispute between an uncle and his nephew on  Happy Hollow Road.

• Investigated a theft of property on Happy Hollow Road.

• Removed marijuana plants from a residence on Round Mountain. No contact  with resident.
