Sheriff Bonds update in Stone County Leader

The following information is taken from the daily activity logs of deputies with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office.

During the week of 6/8 - 6/14 deputies logged 2,787 miles.

Deputies:

• Conducted multiple building checks and transported several inmates to different facilities around the state.

• Responded to a neighbor dispute on Hell Creek Road. Female subject arrested on warrants from another county.

• Responded to a complaint of domestic battery. Female subject arrested on outstanding warrants from MVPD.

• Conducted a traffic stop in Mountain View, resulting in an arrest.

• Investigated a residence on Hwy. 14 East for possible drug lab. Unfounded.

• Responded to a complaint of cyber bullying from a residence on Hwy. 9 South.

• Checked on the welfare of a Hwy 263 resident. Resident okay.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Hwy. 263. Subject arrested.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Cook Road. No arrests.

• Conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 66. Subject arrested for DWI.

• Responded to medical center to investigate a dog bite for Izard County.

• Responded to a report of a drunk driver on Hwy. 5 South. No contact.

• Investigated telephone fraud on caller who asked for social security number.

• Responded to a one vehicle accident on Sawmill Road. No personal injuries.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Roasting Ear Road. No arrests.

• Responded to a complaint of loud blasts at Mill Creek.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance at Round Bottom. Female transported to another residence.

• Responded to a broken down vehicle on Hwy. 5 South.

• Responded to a drunk driver report on Hwy. 5 North. No contact

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Hwy 66. No arrest. Male subject ordered to leave residence.

• Worked a vehicle-deer accident on Hwy. 66. No personal injuries.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Herpel Road. No arrests. Subjects separated.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Round Mountain. Female subject arrested.

• Assisted Izard County with vehicle coming into Stone County. No contact.

• Responded to kids’ bicycles on the road on Ridgeview. Bicycles are at the sheriff’s office.

• Worked an overturned semi truck at St. James. One personal injury.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance at Sunnyland. No arrest.

• Investigated a complaint of gun shots on Cedar Creek Road.

• Worked a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 5 North. No personal injuries.

• Responded to a possible domestic disturbance on Double Bridge Loop.

• Responded to a land dispute on Holmes Road.

• Worked a two vehicle accident on Hwy. 9 South. No personal injuries.

• Responded to a complaint of a male subject walking down the road on Hwy. 66 West. Arrested subject for public intoxication.

• Responded to a complaint of trespassers fishing on a private pond. Subjects cited for criminal trespassing.
