Sheriff Bonds update in Stone County Leader

The following information is taken from the daily activity logs of deputies with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office.

During the week of 6/22 - 6/28 deputies logged 2,742 miles.

Deputies:

• Made multiple building checks around the county and a few transports to facilities around the state.

• Responded to a grass fire on Jimmy Mitchell Road.

• Responded to complaints of fireworks on Blue Sky Road and Herpel Road.

• Responded to a fire on Hwy. 66.

• Responded to a possible domestic disturbance on Ben Road. Subject arrested.

• Responded to a complaint of an intoxicated male on Herpel Road. Subject arrested.

• Responded to a report of an accident on Hwy 9 South. Unable to locate.

• Responded to a report of smoke at Allison. Unfounded.

• Made a traffic stop on Hwy 5 North. One male arrested and one juvenile charged with minor in possession of drugs.

• Responded to a residential alarm on Misenheimer Road.

• Assisted MVPD with a medical call.

• Served multiple legal papers.

• Checked on the welfare of a Cochise Lane resident.

• Investigated a theft of property on Gunner Pool Road.

• Responded to a complaint of a mule in the road at Fox.

• Responded to a complaint of dogs locked in a car with the windows rolled up at Blanchard Caverns. Subject contacted and told to take care of his dogs.

• Responded to a deer-vehicle accident on Hwy. 5 South. No injuries.

• Responded to a harassment complaint on Hwy. 66.

• Worked a one vehicle accident at St. James. No injuries.

• Conducted a civil standby at Webb Acres.

• Responded to cattle in the road on Ross Road.

• Responded to a complaint of vehicle speeding at Webb Acres. Subject given warning.

• Responded to a dispute on Happy Hollow Road.

• Responded to a prowler complaint on Hwy. 9 South.

• Responded to a possible drunk driver on Oak Grove Loop. No contact.

• Responded to an alarm at Fox school. Everything okay.

• Responded to a complaint of trespassers on Hidden Road. No contact.

• Responded to a subject violating a protection order on Road Mountain. Subject arrested.

• Worked a one vehicle accident on Hwy. 5 North. One personal injury.

• Worked a rollover accident on Hwy. 14 East. One personal injury.

• Investigated a theft of property report on Hwy. 9 South.

• Responded to a medical emergency call on Oak Grove Loop. Subject refused medical treatment.

• Investigated a vehicle break-in on Hwy. 9 South. Subject arrested.

• Responded to a domestic disturbance on Pine Hill Road. Subject arrested.

• Possible domestic disturbance on Teague High Top Road. No arrest.

• Responded to a complaint of cattle in the road on Hwy. 66. Unable to locate.

• Assisted Izard County with domestic disturbance on Hwy. 9.

• Responded to a complaint of reckless driving on Hwy. 5 South. No contact.

• Investigated a gas drive-off at Hilltop.

• Responded to a complaint of 4-wheelers trespassing on Iron Mountain Road. No contact.

• Responded to cows in the road on Hwy. 263. No contact.
