            In an unrelated case, Blake Anthony Sexton was interviewed by Detective Dewayne Pierce of the Stone

            County Sheriff’s Department in regard to the Residential Burglary and Theft of a firearm from a

            residence in Stone County during May of this year.  The crime was reported by the residence owner.


            During the interview, Sexton stated that between the dates of May 1, 2012 and May 8,

            2012, he unlawfully entered the residence while it was unoccupied.  Once inside, Sexton

            pried open a closet door and removed a handgun from inside.


            After leaving the residence, Sexton sold or traded the firearm to another individual in

            Stone County, Arkansas.  The firearm was recovered by Detective Dewayne Pierce and

            Detective Richard Pickers and returned to the owner.  16TH Judicial District Prosecutor

            Don McSpadden’s office filed formal charges of Residential Burglary and Theft of

            Property against Sexton, on July 17, 2012.   Sexton’s bond has been set at $5,000.00 by

            Judge Kemp of Stone County.  He has been given a court date of August 9, 2012 at 9:30

            AM.  Sexton is currently incarcerated in the Stone County Detention Center.
