On July 16, 2012, charges were filed on two juveniles (Personal Information Masked) in relation to the June 16th break-in of the Fox Country Store. On June 16th, 2012, the Fox Country Store in Fox, Arkansas was unlawfully entered by force. Once inside, individuals stole numerous items such as energy drinks, cigarettes and snack items.
After researching leads in the case, two juveniles were identified as suspects in the case. During interviews with Stone County Sheriff Lance Bonds and Detective Dewayne Pierce of the Criminal Investigation Division, two juveniles confessed to unlawfully entering the business, stealing items from inside and creating damage (graffiti) to the outside of the business.
The juveniles have been charged by 16th Judicial District Don McSpadden’s Office and the Stone County Sheriff’s Department with Commercial Burglary, Theft of Property and Criminal Mischief. Both juveniles have been taken into custody and transported to a juvenile detention facility within the State of Arkansas. A juvenile detention hearing is scheduled for Thursday, July 19, 2012. Assisting in this investigation was Stone County Deputy Joe Beaudin and Officer Cindy Ellis of the Stone County Juvenile Office.
