Sheriff Bonds update in Stone County Leader

The following information is taken from the daily activity logs from deputies with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office.

During the time period of 7/6 - 7/19 deputies logged 4,0830 miles.

Deputies:

• Conducted multiple building checks and made several transports of inmates around the state.

• Served several legal papers around the county.

• Served notice to vacate on Bagby Lane.

• Investigated a hit and run accident in Fox. Still under investigation.

• Made a traffic stop on Hwy. 5 north. Subject arrested on outstanding warrants out of Cleburne County.

• Made a traffic stop on Hwy. 5 north. Subject arrested on outstanding warrants.

• Checked on the welfare of a Hwy. 66 resident. Everything alright.

• Checked on the welfare of an Oak Grove Loop resident.

• Assisted the MVPD with a drunk driver who wrecked his vehicle.

• Made a traffic stop on Hwy. 14 west. Resulted in female subject arrested on hot check warrant.

• Investigated burglary on Dodd Lane.

• Made a traffic stop on Hwy. 9 south, Two subjects arrested on outstanding warrants.

• Served a felony arrest warrant at a Fox residence.

• Investigated mail box vandalism on Red River Road.

Deputies also responded to:

• An incident in which a subject claimed he was shot by another subject at Meadowcreek.

• A one vehicle accident on Hwy. 5 north. No personal injuries.

• A traffic stop on Hwy. 66. Subject arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, and passenger arrested for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.

• A possible domestic disturbance on Hwy. 9 south. Subject arrested for interfering with emergency communications.

• A possible drunk driver call on Hwy. 5 north. No contact.

• A complaint of fireworks on Hwy. 87. Unfounded.

• A broken down vehicle blocking the highway on Hwy, 9 south.

• A one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 5 north. No personal injuries.

• A residential alarm on Oak Grove Loop.

• A possible break-in on May Road.

• A complaint of mail boxes being shot on Herpel Road.

• A possible domestic disturbance on Luber Road. No arrests.

• A motor vehicle accident on Hwy. 5 north. Vehicle was gone when deputies arrived.

• A complaint of an abandoned vehicle on Gunner Pool Road.

• A possible domestic disturbance on Hwy. 66. No arrests.

• A possible domestic disturbance on Hwy. 66. Resulted in two arrests.

• A semi truck blocking the road on Hwy. 66.

• Suspicious activity at Dodd Mountain Fire Station.

• A 911 hang-up off Big Springs Road. Everything alright.

• A possible domestic disturbance on Lawrence Road. No arrests.

• A complaint of burning during a burn ban. Subjects told to put out the fire.

• A medical emergency on Hwy 66.

• A trespassing complaint on Hwy. 87.

• A possible fight on Petters Road. No arrests.

• A possible drug overdose on Brushy Creek Road.

• A two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 66. No injuries.

• A possible drunk driver on Hwy. 66. No contact.

• A one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 5 south. One personal injury.

• A complaint of a possible meth lab on Hwy 110. Unfounded.

• A possible drunk driver on Hwy. 9 south. No contact.

• A possible domestic disturbance on Hwy 9 south. Female subject transported to another residence.

• A theft of property report on Herpel Road. Unfounded.

• A vicious dog complaint off Hub Willis Road.

• A call on a female walking in the road. Subject contacted and taken to a residence.

• A reckless driver complaint on Hwy. 14 east. No contact.

• A terroristic threatening complaint on Hwy. 9 south.

• A possible theft of property at Sylamore campgrounds.

• A trespassing complaint on Hwy. 66. Resulted in two arrests.

• A possible domestic disturbance at Round Bottom. All verbal, no arrests.
