Sheriff Bonds update in Stone County Leader

The following information is taken from the daily activity logs of deputies with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office.

During the week of 7/20 - 7/26 deputies logged 3214 miles.

Deputies:

• Made multiple building checks and transports.

• Responded to a complaint of items stolen out of a mail box on Peace Mountain Road.

• Recovered stolen items in the Ben Area.

• Responded to a complaint of a subject burning brush on Hell Creek Road.

• Investigated a theft of property report on Hwy. 9 south.

• Responded to a family dispute on Airport Drive.

• Responded to a possible domestic disturbance on Hwy. 5 north. Male subject arrested.

• Responded to a possible attempted suicide on Round Mountain. Subject transported to medical center.

• Responded to possible animal abuse on Black Bear Road. Call unfounded.

• Responded to a two vehicle accident on Hwy 14 east. Four personal injuries.

• Responded to a one vehicle accident on Luber Road. One personal injury.

• Assisted MVPD with two male subjects fighting at Red Bud Inn.

• Initiated a traffic stop on Hub Willis Road. Driver cited for no drivers license.

• Responded to a neighbor dispute on Meadowcreek. No arrests.

• Responded to a complaint of vicious dogs on Hwy. 263.

• Responded to a deer in the road. Deer removed.

• Responded to a disabled vehicle blocking the road on Hwy. 66.

• Responded to a possible domestic disturbance on Penner Lane. Verbal, no arrests.

• Responded to a dispute on Roasting Ear Road.

• Checked on the welfare of a Hwy. 66 resident. Subject okay..

• Responded to a subject on a 4 wheeler shooting a shotgun on Cecil Stevens Road. Subject said he was shooting skunks.

• Served multiple legal papers around the county.

• Arrested a female subject at the probation-parole office.

• Responded to a possible drunk driver on Hwy. 263. No contact.

• Assisted MVPD with suspicious activity in the city limits.

• Responded to a complaint of animal abuse on Hwy. 110. Unfounded.

• Responded to a dispute on Herpel Road. No arrests. Male subject told to leave the property.

• Responded to a possible drunk driver on Herpel Road. Driver located. Everything okay.

• Responded to a one vehicle accident on Misenheimer Road. One personal injury.

• Responded to a motorcycle accident on Hwy. 14 west. Two personal injuries.

• Responded to a residential alarm on Hwy. 66. Everything okay.

• Responded to a call of a possible suicide on Prince Loop. Subject located. Everything okay.

• Checked on the welfare of a Prim Road resident. Subject okay.

• Investigated a theft of property on Ross Road.
