Reference: (Felony Fugitive Arrests) Riggs, Jonathan Dean / Johnson. Khelsey Leigh

On October 24, 2014, Stone County Sheriff Lance Bonds assigned investigators from the Stone County Sheriff’s Department to investigate information and leads involving two federal fugitives wanted from the State of Illinois. Information had been received that the fugitives were possibly staying in the Stone County area. During the investigation, one of the fugitives was located in Mountain View by deputies. The United States Marshal Service had been in contact with Stone County officials in an attempt to coordinate an operation and arrest of the fugitives.
After a positive location of the fugitives was confirmed, officers with the Stone County Sheriff’s Department, 16th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Mountain View Police Department conducted an operation at a residence on Woody Drive in Mountain View, Arkansas. This operation resulted in the arrest of Jonathan Dean Riggs of Galesville, Illinois and his girlfriend, Khelsey Leigh Johnson, also of Galesville, Illinois.
Riggs has been charged with Burglary & CDTP (Criminal Damage To Property). He currently is being held at the Stone County Detention Center in lieu of a $600,000.00 bond. Johnson has been charged with two counts of Unlawful Aiding a Fugitive and Obstructing Justice. She currently is being held at the Stone County Detention Center in lieu of a $25,000.00 bond.
Both are awaiting extradition to the State of Illinois.
