Arson Investigation

Sheriff Lance Bonds states that on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018, he and investigators with his agency were dispatched to a structure fire at 609 Sawmill Rd. Mountain View, AR. 72560.

After arriving, a white male (later identified as Foy Densmore, 56 years of age, Mountain View) was observed standing next to the house, naked, which was fully engulfed in flames. Densmore was acting extremely "excited and giddy." In an excited utterance, Densmore stated, "I burned it to the ground." At this point Densmore was handcuffed by Investigator Sean Hickman and placed in the back of a patrol vehicle. Densmore was transported to the Stone County Detention Center for booking and holding.

During a post miranda interview, Densmore stated he was upset because he had been asked to leave the residence therefore, he set fire to the residence and burned it. Densmore had been charged with Arson, a Class Y Felony. He is in custody awaiting a bond.

Sheriff Bonds states that the damage to the residence appears to be a total loss.
