Traffic Stop:

Shyron L. VANCE was arrested on May 6, 2021, for Possession of Meth less than 2 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop by Deputy Nathan Masterson on Hwy 14 east.  VANCE'S bond was set at $1,500.00. 

Search Warrant:

On May 6, 2021, at approximately 12:24hrs, Stone County Deputies, Mountain View Police Department, and the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force Agents executed a search warrant at on Gayler Street in Mountain View.  This incident came after the Stone County Sheriff's Department gathered enough information to obtain a search warrant for the residence. 

Investigators arrested Eddie POWELL, age 53, of Mountain View, Arkansas for Maintaining a Drug Premises, Possession of Crystal Meth less than 2 grams, and possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  POWELL is currently out on bond with charges out of Stone County District Court and Stone County Circuit Court.

Investigators also arrested Anthony "Tony" Lancaster, age 59, of Mountain View, Arkansas for Maintaining a Drug Premises, Possession of Crystal Meth less than 2 grams, and possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  LANCASTER is currently out on probation and had numerous outstanding warrants for probation violations and failure to appear in court.
