A theft investigation at Jack's Fishing Resort lands a Little Rock man in jail.  On Sunday June 20, 2021, Corporal Chad Cruse with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and Chief Deputy Dammon McGilton with the Stone County Sheriff's Department responded to an incident that had occurred at Jack's Boat Dock.  Upon arrival, officers learned that a male had stolen some items from the property. According to witnesses, the male was confronted by a guest at the Resort and the male fled the scene in a boat.  According to witnesses, the male appeared to be under the influence of something. 

Corporal Cruse and Chief Deputy McGilton located the boater and observed him pull his boat up to the bank at the Resort.  The male was identified as Robert D. LOUTHIAN, 3rd, age 30, of Little Rock, Arkansas.  After a brief investigation, LOUTHIAN was charged with Boating While Intoxicated by Use of Drugs, possession of marijuana, criminal trespassing, numerous counts of theft of property, reckless operation of a vessel or boat.  Numerous property items were recovered from his boat and vehicle that belonged to numerous victims.  Items included, two kayaks, two ice chest, fishing poles, fishing tackle, and pocket knives.  Officers have contacted the owners and items are being returned.  LOUTHIAN made bond a few days later and was given a court date in The Stone County District Court.
