On August 20, 2021, Investigators Michael Tharp and Justin Meeks investigated a break-in and vandalism at a residence on Highway 66 in Stone County.  A gun, alcohol, and other hunting equipment was taken from an outside storage building and tires on an ATV were slashed.  After further investigation, a search warrant was obtained on a suspect located in Searcy County.  Officers with Stone and Searcy Counties executed a search warrant on Tall Tail Lane in Searcy County and located the stolen property.  Charity HOWARD, age 50, of Marshall, AR was arrested and charged with Breaking or Entering Theft of a Firearm, and First Degree Criminal Mischief which are Class "D" Felonies and a misdemeanor for theft of property.  Bond was set at $15,000.00.
