According to Chief Deputy Dammon McGilton, on Friday March 4, 2022, officers with the Stone County Sheriff's Department, 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force, and Mountain View Police Department executed numerous arrest warrants regarding drugs and wanted fugitives.
Officers went to Cochise Lane and arrested Stephanie C. Strong, age 38, of Mountain View for 3 counts of Delivery of Crystal Meth. The charges are Class "C" Felonies and if convicted could carry a sentence of 3-10 years each in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Bond was set at $30,000.00.
Officers went to Fowler Road just inside Izard County and arrested Amber D. Hays, age 36, of Sylamore for a warrant for Possession of Crystal Meth with the Purpose to Deliver. The charge is a Class "B" Felony, which if convicted carries a sentence from 5-20 years in A.D.C. Bond was set at $30,000.00.
Officers went to South Riggsvilledrive in Mountain View and arrested Fanny GREEN, age 38, of Mountain View for a warrant for Possession of Crystal Meth with the Purpose to Deliver over 10 grams. The charge is a Class "A" Felony, which if convicted carries a sentence from 10 to 30 years in A.D.C. and a fine not to exceed $25,000.00.
Officers went to Younger Access Road and arrested Kayla Greenhaw, age 28, of Mountain View for a Felony Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear out of the Stone County Circuit Court on drug related charges. She has a no bond and remains in the custody of Stone County pending a court appearance. Officers also arrested Junior Corter, age 34, of Mountain View for a Felony Failure to Appear out of Circuit Court. He also remains in custody pending a court appearance.
Officers went to Sawmill Road area and arrested Chaz Adams, age 22, of Mountain View for absconding Drug Court and probation violations. He appeared in the Stone County Drug Court Program on Monday March 7, 2022, and was sentenced to 1 year in RCF. He remains in custody of the Sheriff's Department pending transport.
